Get Your Cert 💰 — FAQ
What is the Get Your Cert program?
It is a referral program designed to reward subscribers who introduce new subscribers to the publication.
Who can participate?
Any subscriber - free or paid - may participate.
However, only referrals who become verified subscribers count toward rewards.
How does a referral become verified?
A referral becomes verified when:
the new user subscribes through your referral link,
confirms their email,
and stays subscribed for at least 14 days.
Where do I find my referral link?
You can find your referral link in:
your Substack profile under “invite friends”,
referral-related emails,
or the sharing panel within posts (if enabled).
Do free-tier sign-ups count?
Free sign-ups are welcome and count toward referral rewards.
Do gifted subscriptions count?
No.
Gifted subscriptions do not count toward referral totals because they do not reflect independent subscriber intent.
Why is there a 14-day verification period?
This period ensures referrals are genuine and prevents abuse such as temporary sign-ups, self-referrals, or automated accounts.
Why do rewards unlock after 30/45/60 days?
This safeguard provides time to verify account integrity, assess payment validity, and confirm that no fraudulent patterns are present.
How are rewards paid out?
Rewards are distributed via rewarble.com and can be redeemed as: PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Bitcoin, Rewarble, or OpenAI credits - depending on availability. Additional charges or regional limitations may apply.
Why was my referral rejected?
Referral rejections typically occur due to:
overlapping IP or device information,
disposable email usage,
immediate cancellations,
suspiciously fast sign-up patterns,
irregular payment behavior,
or violations of program rules.
Rejections are not punitive; they simply ensure fairness.
Can I be removed from the program?
Yes. Participants may be removed in cases of repeated or intentional misuse, fraudulent activity, or attempts to manipulate referral counts.
Is there a limit to how many referrals I can make?
No.
There is no upper limit. Participants are encouraged to share responsibly and authentically.
Can the program change?
Yes. The program may be updated to maintain fairness, sustainability, and integrity. All substantial changes will be announced.
